A Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, has over 40 years of experience in project and program management, quality, safety and training. Ira has managed programs and projects worth millions of dollars. As the Director of Quality, Operations & Maintenance and Environmental Health & Safety, Ira created and implemented quality and safety programs from the ground up. He brings with him a passion for non-profit work, where he has spent over 20 years in high-level volunteer positions and has also been a volunteer coordinator for a non-profit coordinating agency. Ira has merged his Lean Six Sigma knowledge and his passion for non-profits by writing the chapter Operational Excellence in Non-Profits for the book Driving Operation Excellence (www.drivingoperationalexcellence.com).
In 2020, Ira became a Coach for Community Heart & Soul. which is a resident-driven community engagement and development program that brings residents and their elected officials together to build stronger, healthier, and more economically vibrant small cities and towns based on what matters most to everyone.
